| Obverse description | The State Emblem of India — the Lion Capital of Ashoka — is depicted centrally, showing three lions passant guardant atop an abacus bearing a Dharma Chakra flanked by a horse and a bull in relief. Immediately below the emblem appears the motto legend in Devanagari script, and the numeral '1' is prominently placed in the lower field.
