Small pellet clusters are interspersed throughout the field as ornamental elements. The irregular flan edge, characteristic of hammered coinage of this period, is clearly visible. The overall design follows the traditional South Asian rupee format with continuous calligraphic bands dominating the composition. |

The hammered flan exhibits the characteristic irregular shape and uneven edge associated with hand-struck Afghan rupees of the early Barakzai period.
