Obverse description Densely executed Arabic calligraphic inscription filling the entire field in bold nasta'liq script, conveying the royal titles and name of Ayub Shah. A decorative beaded border encircles the legend, characteristic of Durrani-period Afghan coinage. The inscription is arranged in multiple registers without a central motif, with the ruler's name and titles distributed across the field. The hammered flan produces a slightly irregular surface typical of hand-struck provincial coinage of this era.
