The upper band contains the regnal year (RY) of Aurangzeb's reign, while the mint name Multan appears towards the lower portion of the flan. Floral or rosette ornaments are visible between the lines of text, a decorative feature common to Multan mint issues. The coin shows the characteristic irregular flan edge of hammered Mughal silver coinage. |
