| Beschrijving voorzijde | Three horizontal registers of bold Nasta'liq Arabic script fill the coin's field, with the central band bearing the emperor's regal titles. The legend reads 'Muhammad Azizuddin Alamgir, Badshah Ghazi' (Warrior King), accompanied by the Quranic invocation 'May God Protect His Kingdom.' The AH regnal date appears in the lower register. The calligraphy is characteristic of late Mughal hammered coinage, with flowing letterforms extending to the coin's irregular edge. |
