| Obverse description | Three horizontal registers of bold Nasta'liq Arabic script fill the coin's field, with the central band bearing the emperor's regal titles. The legend reads 'Muhammad Azizuddin Alamgir, Badshah Ghazi' (Warrior King), accompanied by the Quranic invocation 'May God Protect His Kingdom.' The AH regnal date appears in the lower register. The calligraphy is characteristic of late Mughal hammered coinage, with flowing letterforms extending to the coin's irregular edge. |

| Reverse description | Three registers of Nasta'liq Arabic script occupy the reverse field, recording the mint epithet and regnal year. The upper field bears the mint designation 'Dar-ul-Khilafat' (Seat of the Caliphate), the honorific title applied to Shahjahanabad. The regnal year (RY) appears in the lower register.
