The upper register bears the mint name and regnal year formula, while the lower register displays the frozen Hijri date '511' (rendered as ۵۱۱) — a conventional frozen date employed by Maratha moneyers throughout the period of production. Pellet ornaments punctuate the field, and the overall style reflects the broad, fluid calligraphic strokes typical of Maratha imitative coinage struck at the Katak (Cuttack) mint. |
