Obverse description Printed in dark red on a light underprint, the obverse is framed by an ornate guilloche border with Mughal-inspired arabesque corners and numeral '1' at each lateral extremity. The central field carries a large decorative cloud-shaped cartouche enclosing the Urdu inscription for 'Government of Pakistan' at the top and the denomination in Urdu below the serial number. To the right, the crescent and star emblem of Pakistan is rendered in intaglio, while a facsimile signature and ministry attribution appear in small Urdu script at the lower centre.

Reverse description Printed in rose-red on a pale underprint, the reverse presents an architectural vignette of the Naulakha Pavilion within Lahore Fort, rendered with fine intaglio line work showing the ornate colonnaded arcade and arched structures in the background. A large blank oval cartouche framed by a floral guilloche occupies the right half of the design, intended for a handstamp or overprint. The Urdu legend 'Government of Pakistan' runs along the top border and the denomination appears in Urdu script at the lower right, all enclosed within a decorative floral outer frame.
