Obverse description The field displays a three-line Persian legend in Nastaliq script reading 'Sikka Badshah Ghazi Shah Jahan', arranged horizontally across the coin and separated by a raised linear border. The inscription, invoking the Mughal imperial title, occupies the full field with bold, deeply struck calligraphic characters. Small decorative pellet or annulet devices are visible in the upper portion of the field. The coin bears no mint date on this face, consistent with the undated (ND) classification. The overall style follows the standard Mughal hammered rupee fabric of the mid-eighteenth century.
