To the left of the central scene, the Eiffel Tower is depicted alongside the European Championship trophy, accompanied by the inscription «ПАРИЖ» (PARIS). The upper rim bears the commemorative legend «100-ЛЕТИЕ РОССИЙСКОГО ФУТБОЛА» (100TH ANNIVERSARY OF FOOTBALL IN RUSSIA), while the lower rim carries the inscription «КУБОК ЕВРОПЫ. 1960» (THE EUROPE CUP. 1960).
