Obverse description The State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus is depicted in high relief at the top of the coin. Within a central circle in the field, a detailed fragment of a one-faced Slutsk belt produced by the Slutsk manufactory between 1776 and 1780, as exhibited in the National Museum of History and Culture of Belarus, is rendered with fine artistic detail. The circular legend РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (Republic of Belarus) arcs along the upper rim. The year of issue 2013 appears to the left in the field, flanked by a decorative artistic element to the right, while the denomination 1 РУБЕЛЬ (1 Ruble) is inscribed along the lower portion of the coin.
