| Obverse description | Reused Imperial Russian State Credit Note of 1898 design, with the double-headed eagle with crown at left centre and the Cyrillic monogram of Emperor Nicholas II at right. The central text panel bears the denomination ОДИН РУБЛЬ (One Rouble) below the header ГОСУДАРСТВЕННЫЙ КРЕДИТНЫЙ БИЛЕТ, flanked by ornate architectural pillars with guilloche work; signatures of the Manager and Cashier appear below the redemption text, with serial number repeated at lower left and lower right. The note has been overprinted or validated by perforation for use by the Chaikovskiy Government. |
