Obverse description The Imperial double-headed eagle coat of arms is positioned at the left, with the State Bank monogram at the right within an ornate architectural frame of columns and guilloche borders. The central panel bears the Cyrillic inscription ОДИН РУБЛЬ (One Rouble) with the issuing text above, and two manuscript signatures of the Manager and Cashier below. The date appears in a decorative cartouche at the foot of the note, flanked by the serial number repeated at both lower corners.

Reverse description The large Cyrillic numeral РУБЛЬ (Rouble) dominates the left side in tall intaglio lettering, set against an elaborate leafy branch vignette. At centre, the Imperial double-headed eagle coat of arms is enclosed within a circular guilloche medallion surrounded by oak and laurel branches. A block of explanatory text in Cyrillic appears in the upper right panel, with the entire composition set within a fine guilloche border.
