Reverse description Central field bearing a multi-line Persian Nasta'liq calligraphic inscription denoting the mint city and date, arranged across three registers within an ornate arabesque and floral ground. The legend reads 'Zarb Dar al-Saltana Qazvin' (struck at the seat of sovereignty, Qazvin), with the AH regnal year appearing in Eastern Arabic numerals in the lower register. A raised inner circle frames the inscription field, itself surrounded by a continuous border of raised beads at the rim.
