| Descrizione del rovescio | Polychrome depiction of Sohar Fort prominently displayed in the central field, accompanied by a traditional Omani dhow rendered in vivid colour, evoking the maritime heritage of the sultanate. Surrounding these central motifs is an inscribed register listing the names of the imams and sultans of the Al Busaid dynasty in Arabic script, forming a historically rich commemorative composition. A bilingual legend in Arabic and Latin appears along the outer border, identifying the issuing authority, denomination, and the occasion of the anniversary. |

The Al Busaid dynasty has ruled Oman continuously since 1744, when Ahmad ibn Said expelled the Persian Afsharid occupiers and was elected Imam — making it one of the longest-reigning dynasties in the Arab world. Oman's imperial reach once stretched to Zanzibar and the Swahili Coast, with Muscat controlling trade routes that linked India, East Africa, and the Persian Gulf simultaneously.
At 113.4 grams of .927 gold, this is a substantial bullion-prestige piece rather than anything approaching a circulating denomination. The 1 Rial face value is purely nominal against the metal content.
