| Obverse description | Quartered shield bearing the Jerusalem cross of Castile and León, with castles in the upper-left and lower-right quarters and rampant lions in the upper-right and lower-left quarters, struck on an irregularly shaped cob flan typical of macuquina coinage. The date appears partially visible in the lower field. The design is characteristic of the Habsburg-style cross coinage produced at the Lima mint during the reign of Felipe V. |

| Reverse description | The two crowned Pillars of Hercules, representing the Strait of Gibraltar, flank a central cross dividing the field into four sections, with the legend PLVS VLTR(A) — the Spanish royal motto — disposed around the design. The mintmark, assayer initial, and denomination mark appear in the fields between the pillars, consistent with Lima cob coinage of the early 18th century. The flan is irregular in shape and the strike is characteristically off-center, as is typical of hammered macuquina pieces of this period. |
