Reverse description Central field features a simplified, stylized conch shell (sankha) rendered in bold relief, with a smooth curved body and a pronounced curved spout or horn extending to the lower left. To the upper right of the conch, two isolated raised pellets are visible in the field. Below the conch, a prominent rectangular arrangement of twelve or more large raised pellets fills the lower half of the field, possibly representing a conventional symbol of value or denomination. The design is enclosed within a continuous border of large raised pellets, consistent with the hammered technique and indigenous iconographic tradition maintained under Dutch East India Company coinage at Cochin.
