To the left of the central device the Roman numeral date legend reads 'CIↃ·IↃ·C·C·L·' (equating to MDCCL, i.e. 1750), and 'C·C·L·' appears to the right, together denoting the jubilee year. The entire design is contained within a milled or corded border. The composition is characteristic of the provincial Papal mint style of the mid-18th century. |
