This central cartouche is encircled by a wreath of olive branches tied at the base, a traditional symbol of peace. Below the wreath, the English legend 'TEN FILS' appears on one line, with 'THE HASHEMITE KINGDOM OF JORDAN' arcing along the lower periphery. The entire design is framed by a toothed inner border consistent with the obverse.
