Beschrijving keerzijde Central field features a circular cartouche bearing the dual-dated inscription in Arabic numerals (AH 1387 / AD 1968) at the top, below which the denomination 'Qirsh' is inscribed in large Arabic script, followed by '10 Fils' in smaller Arabic text. This central cartouche is encircled by a wreath of olive branches tied at the base, a traditional symbol of peace. Below the wreath, the English legend 'TEN FILS' appears on one line, with 'THE HASHEMITE KINGDOM OF JORDAN' arcing along the lower periphery. The entire design is framed by a toothed inner border consistent with the obverse.

Aanvullende informatie

Pattern coinage for Jordan in this period was tied directly to Hussein's broader currency reform program, which consolidated the fils-based decimal system introduced after independence. Most Jordanian patterns from the late 1960s were struck in precious metals as presentation or proof-of-concept pieces and were never submitted for circulation approval — this gold example almost certainly falls into that category. KM#Pn3 is among the rarer documented patterns from the series, with no confirmed mintage figure in the standard references.
