Beschrijving voorzijde The obverse is entirely occupied by a multi-line calligraphic Arabic legend executed in bold Nastaliq script, reading 'السلطان ابن السلطان ناصرالدین شاه قاجار' (Sultan son of Sultan, Naser al-Din Shah Qajar). The inscription fills the entire field in sweeping, interlocking strokes characteristic of the Qajar royal titulature style. Small rosette or pellet ornaments are interspersed between the lines of text, serving as decorative separators. The whole design is enclosed within a beaded border running along the coin's circumference. The deeply struck lettering and decorative flourishes reflect the high-relief engraving tradition of the Qajar mint.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse presents a multi-line Nastaliq calligraphic legend divided into two principal registers separated by a horizontal line, with the mint and date inscription reading 'ضرب دارالسلطنه تبریز سنه ۱۲۷۲' (Struck at the Seat of the Sultanate, Tabriz, year 1272). Floral rosette ornaments and small pellet clusters embellish the field between the lines of text, lending an ornate quality to the design. The numeral date in Eastern Arabic notation appears prominently in the lower register. A beaded border encircles the entire reverse design, consistent with Qajar coinage conventions of this period. The overall composition is characteristic of provincial Qajar silver coinage struck at the Tabriz mint.
