Reverse description The reverse presents a multi-line Nastaliq calligraphic legend divided into two principal registers separated by a horizontal line, with the mint and date inscription reading 'ضرب دارالسلطنه تبریز سنه ۱۲۷۲' (Struck at the Seat of the Sultanate, Tabriz, year 1272). Floral rosette ornaments and small pellet clusters embellish the field between the lines of text, lending an ornate quality to the design. The numeral date in Eastern Arabic notation appears prominently in the lower register. A beaded border encircles the entire reverse design, consistent with Qajar coinage conventions of this period. The overall composition is characteristic of provincial Qajar silver coinage struck at the Tabriz mint.
