Obverse description Bohemian Prague Groschen host coin bearing a counterstamp applied by the city of Bayreuth. The obverse displays the crowned royal bust or heraldic device typical of Bohemian coinage of the period, rendered in low relief consistent with hammered technique. A circular Latin legend surrounds the central device in uncial characters, now heavily worn and partially illegible. The counterstamp, applied with a punch, is visible in the field and served as a local validation or revaluation mark. The overall surface shows significant wear and flan irregularity characteristic of late 14th to early 15th century circulation coinage.
