Opmerkingen

Guernsey's last paper pound before the island moved to polymer for smaller denominations. The 2013 date places this note in the final years of De La Rue's long relationship with the Bailiwick — a contract stretching back decades through multiple series redesigns. It's a relatively short-run issue by comparison with its predecessors, and examples that actually circulated show wear quickly given the note's modest dimensions relative to how frequently a pound changes hands in everyday transactions.

De La Rue's London facility handled both printing and security feature integration, including the windowed security thread specific to this series.
