| Descrizione del dritto | The upper portion carries a calligraphic title inscription in ornate script above JERSEY in serifed capitals, flanked by an oval vignette at the upper left enclosing the Jersey coat of arms within a laurel wreath and a matching wreath cartouche at the upper right. A bold letterpress underprint reading BRITISH spans the centre, overlaid by manuscript text constituting the promise to pay. The denomination ONE POUND BRITISH appears in a rectangular panel at the lower left, with handwritten signatures and an ENT'd notation at the foot. |
