Reverse description At centre, the heraldic shield of the Parish of St. Ouen is displayed prominently, bearing a plain Latin cross on a plain field, as traditionally ascribed to that parish. Above the shield, the inscription PARISH OF arcs across the upper portion of the shield's field, with ST. OUEN appearing below it. The legend BAILIWICK OF JERSEY curves along the upper periphery of the coin, while ONE POUND is inscribed along the lower arc, all contained within a beaded inner border. The proof surface creates a strong contrast between the deeply mirrored field and the finely frosted devices.
