| Beschrijving voorzijde | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the King George IV State Diadem, with a pearl drop earring and draped neckline visible. The portrait, attributed to engraver J.C. (Jody Clark), is rendered in high relief against a deeply mirrored proof field. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left periphery, and D . G . REGINA along the upper right. The date 2021 appears in the lower field beneath the bust, with the engraver's initials J.C. incuse below the truncation. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Eadie Island sits in the remote South Orkney Islands, administered under the British Antarctic Territory since its formal establishment in 1962. The BAT issues coinage less as circulating currency than as a jurisdictional assertion — the territory has no permanent civilian population, only rotating scientific staff at Signy Research Station, operated by the British Antarctic Survey.
No shops. No tills. The coins exist because sovereignty requires it.
