| Obverse description | Fifth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, engraved by Jody Clark, depicting the sovereign wearing the George IV State Diadem with draped robes. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the proof finish, with fine detail on the diadem and facial features. The legend ELIZABETH II DEI GRA REG FID DEF encircles the effigy, with the date and engraver's initials J.C. completing the inscription. |
