Obverse description Central vignette presents the Bank of Sudan headquarters in Khartoum, rendered in fine intaglio line engraving against a light guilloche underprint in teal and green tones. Floral sprays of narcissus frame the composition on both left and right margins. Arabic inscriptions appear in the upper and lower registers, with the denomination numeral in large Arabic script at lower right and the serial number repeated twice.

Reverse description Central vignette illustrates the Kiosk of Naga (Wadi Awareib), an ancient Nubian temple structure, set within a fine guilloche framework. Below the architectural vignette, a small statuette of Nubian King Taharqa — held in the Louvre Museum, Paris — is incorporated into the design. English and Arabic inscriptions denoting the issuing authority and denomination are arranged in the upper and lower borders.
