| Descripción del anverso | Crowned quartered coat of arms of Mary of Nemours occupying the central field, combining the fleurs-de-lis of France and the chevrons of Longueville in alternate quarters, surmounted by a royal crown. The shield is rendered in a bold, slightly irregular hammered style characteristic of late 17th-century Swiss coinage. A circular legend in Latin surrounds the device, separated from the toothed border by a fine inner circle. The entire design reflects the heraldic tradition of the Neuchâtel principality under the House of Longueville. |

Small fleurs-de-lis and ornamental devices fill the angles between the arms of the monogram. A royal crown surmounts the uppermost M, and the whole is flanked by additional decorative elements. The circular legend, reading the ruler's name and title, runs along the periphery between the date 1694 and the mint mark, enclosed within a toothed outer border. |
