Reverse description The reverse displays two crossed swords, the heraldic symbol of the Livonian Order, arranged in saltire at the center of the field. A small cross appears at the top between the sword hilts, and pellet or rosette ornaments are placed in the four angles formed by the crossed blades. The date numerals '3' and 'Z' (representing 32, i.e. 1532) are positioned in the left and right fields respectively. The overall design is characteristic of the small hammered billon pfennig issues struck at the Riga mint under Master Wolter von Plettenberg.
