Reverse description The reverse presents a largely plain, deeply worn field with only faint traces of design elements remaining visible, consistent with the incuse impression typical of hammered bracteate-style minor coinage. A partial curved element, possibly a letter or ornamental device, is visible near the upper edge of the flan. The surface shows extensive wear and die weakness throughout, characteristic of this small silver Pfennig denomination struck for local circulation in the County of Henneberg-Schleusingen. The flan edges are irregular and clipped in places, as is typical for hand-cut planchets of this era.
