| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse features the Imperial German eagle displayed, with wings spread and head turned to the right, crowned with the imperial crown above. The eagle bears a large heraldic shield on its breast depicting the Hohenzollern arms, with elaborate decorative mantling and foliate ornaments at the base. The mint mark appears in the lower field, flanking the base of the eagle on either side. No surrounding legend is present; the design fills the coin field in a bold, relief style characteristic of the Wilhelmine era. |
