Obverse description Octagonal zinc notgeld token with a central circular perforation. A pearl border runs along the outer edge of each face, with a secondary inner pearl circle enclosing the numeral '1' as the denomination in the field above the central hole. The legend 'PAUL STEINBOCK' arcs across the upper portion and 'SANDOW' appears at the base, both in raised Latin lettering between the outer pearl rim and the inner pearl circle.
