| Obverse description | Central field features a facing bust of a ruler rendered in a highly stylized, archaic manner characteristic of medieval Austrian bracteate-influenced pfennigs. The figure displays a broad, flat face with schematic facial features, flanked by what appear to be wing-like or cloak elements extending to either side. A small cross or rosette is visible to the right of the bust in the field.
