Obverse description A prominent fleur-de-lis occupies the center of the coin field, rendered in bold relief with clearly defined petals and base lobes in the characteristic Gothic heraldic style. The central device is surrounded by a single ring of evenly spaced pellets forming an inner beaded border, which itself is enclosed within a second outer beaded border following the irregular flan edge. The fields are flat and unlettered, with no inscription present. The overall design is typical of the bracteate-influenced small pfennig coinage of the late medieval Rhenish Palatinate.
