| Obverse description | A rampant lion facing left occupies the central field, rendered in bold relief in the Romanesque style typical of mid-13th century German episcopal coinage. The beast is depicted with pronounced musculature, a stylized mane, and raised forepaws, conveying heraldic energy. The design is contained within a plain raised inner circle, itself set within a broad flat rim. No legend is present on this face. The flan is irregular, characteristic of hand-hammered bracteate-related pfennig production of the period. |

| Reverse description | The reverse displays a mirror-image incuse impression of the obverse lion design, as is typical of the thin hammered pfennig coinage of 13th century Franconia. The rampant lion is visible in negative relief, with the broad rim and inner circle also appearing in corresponding incuse form. The surface shows the characteristic flow lines and irregular texture resulting from the hammering process. No inscription or additional devices are present on the reverse. |
