| 备注 |
Döberitz, located about 25 kilometers west of Berlin, held Allied prisoners during the First World War. Camp-issued Lagergeld like this note was a deliberate administrative tool — prisoners were paid for labor in scrip redeemable only within the camp's canteen system, preventing real currency from accumulating in enemy hands and limiting escape funding. The 1 Pfennig denomination is the smallest practical unit, issued for low-value canteen transactions.
Otto Lange's Berlin printing is straightforward job work. The stamp security feature was common across German PoW camp issues of this period — a simple deterrent against forgeries within the camp population itself.
