Obverse description Facing bust of a bishop wearing a mitre, flanked by two towers to either side; above the bust rises a central tower, with two outward-facing croziers positioned to its sides. The design is rendered in the bold, schematic style characteristic of mid-13th-century German ecclesiastical bracteate-influenced pfennig coinage.
