DER MAGISTRAT:
Reverse description Red and black letterpress design on pale paper, with the denomination numeral '1' and 'Pfg.' repeated at each corner against a dark red ornamental border with decorative scroll motifs. The central vignette presents a detailed line-engraved view of a large classical public building, likely the Soest town hall or a prominent civic edifice, set within an octagonal frame against a light ground. The printer's imprint 'EDLER & KRISCHE, HANNOVER.' appears in small capitals along the bottom margin.
