正面描述	The civic arms of Nuremberg displayed within an oval cartouche at centre, depicting the split shield bearing a demi-eagle and diagonal bars (barry bendy). 附加信息	Nuremberg's status as a Free Imperial City ended abruptly in September 1796 when French forces occupied it, and the city was formally annexed by Bavaria in 1806. These pfennigs, struck in 1798–99, were among the last coins Nuremberg would ever issue under its own authority — a municipal coinage tradition stretching back to the 13th century closing out in billon at under a third of a gram.
