备注	Banco de La Alianza was one of several private provincial banks operating in Argentina during the 1870s, when the national government had not yet established a monopoly over currency issuance. These institutions issued their own notes backed — in theory — by metallic reserves, though the degree of actual backing varied considerably and was not always subject to rigorous oversight. The bank's reliance on the American Bank Note Company placed it in good technical company, but ABNC contracts were accessible to solvent institutions across Latin America and carried no particular prestige signal beyond basic print quality.
