| Description du revers | The reverse features a centrally placed circular color insert depicting Anne Bonny, the historical Caribbean pirate, rendered as a full-length figure in period costume — an open green coat, yellow breeches, red sash, and knee-high boots — holding a cutlass and gazing over her shoulder, with tall-masted sailing vessels visible on the sea behind her. The name ANNE BONNY is inscribed in raised letters across the upper portion of the colored insert. The outer ring of the coin carries the legend PIRATAS DEL CARIBE arcing along the upper periphery, flanked by two five-pointed stars at either side of the lower field, with the date 1995 appearing at the bottom. The contrasting polished border ring and vivid polychrome enamel insert give the piece a distinctive commemorative character. |

Anne Bonny was an Irish-born pirate active in the Caribbean during the early 18th century, sailing under "Calico Jack" Rackham until their capture by Jamaican authorities in 1720. Cuba's inclusion of her in this commemorative peso series is a calculated piece of regional mythology-building — Bonny operated in waters Cuba claims as part of its broader Caribbean heritage, though she had no documented connection to the island itself.
Rackham and most of his crew were hanged at Port Royal. Bonny's ultimate fate remains unrecorded after her trial.
