The Banco Nacional del Salvador was dissolved in 1913 when El Salvador centralized its currency system, making any notes issued in the final years of the bank's operation relatively short-lived in circulation. The 1908 date places this squarely in that closing window — fewer than five years before the institution ceased to exist.
