| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse is printed in a blue-grey tone and carries the denomination 'UN PESO' in bold lettering at the top and bottom borders, framed by a continuous meander ornamental border. At the left centre, a vignette of a tower or column rises within a decorative frame, while at the right a classical female head in profile — rendered in fine intaglio style — wears a laurel wreath. A central text block reproduces the legal authorization, referencing Ley N° 216 de 22 de Junio de 1864, Article 6, stipulating the acceptance of the Letras de Tesorería as legal tender. The printer's imprint is repeated in small type at the lower margin. |
