| Opmerkingen |
Munera is a small municipality in the province of Albacete, Castilla-La Mancha. This note was issued by its local council — one of thousands of emergency fractional currency pieces produced across Republican Spain during the Civil War after metallic coin effectively vanished from circulation in 1936–37. The central government could not supply small change fast enough, so municipalities, trade unions, and local committees printed their own, often on whatever paper was available and authenticated with nothing more than an ink stamp from the issuing body.
The Gari reference is unassigned, suggesting this piece either postdates the catalog's coverage or was simply overlooked — not unusual for minor Albacete province emissions.
