正面描述 Typeset letterpress note printed in black on plain buff card stock, without vignettes or ornamental underprint. Three text registers are contained within a single-rule rectangular border: the issuing authority in the upper register, the town name and province in the centre, and the denomination statement in the lower register, the latter separated from the upper text by a thin horizontal rule.

备注

Marmolejo is a small municipality in the province of Jaén, Andalusia, and this note belongs to the vast ecosystem of locally issued emergency scrip that proliferated across Republican-held Spain during the Civil War after 1936. With the central banking system disrupted and small coinage vanishing from circulation almost immediately, municipal councils across Spain were authorized — or simply took it upon themselves — to print their own fractional currency. Thousands of distinct types were issued by towns, unions, and cooperatives, many in tiny print runs that have since become genuinely rare.

The Gari Montserrat reference confirms legitimate catalog recognition, but documentation on Marmolejo's specific emission remains thin.
