| 备注 |
Jérica is a small municipality in Castellón province, and like hundreds of similarly sized towns across Republican Spain in 1937, its local council issued emergency fractional currency after silver and copper coinage disappeared from circulation almost entirely. These municipal issues — often called "billetes de necesidad" — were a decentralized improvisation, with each council responsible for its own design, printing, and backing. Quality and survival rates vary enormously by locality.
The thick card stock used here was typical of inland Valencian municipalities that lacked access to proper banknote paper and relied on whatever commercial printers could source locally.
