ARGYLE ST HOBART TON . around the full circumference. At centre, the proprietor's initials O. H. appear above the surname HEDBERG in larger bold serif capitals, the two elements separated by a short raised rule above and below, giving a cartouche-like arrangement characteristic of mid-nineteenth-century Australian tradesman's tokens. |
