| Beschrijving keerzijde | Long voided cross extending to the coin's edge divides the field into four quadrants, each containing three pellets arranged in a triangular pattern. An inner beaded circle intersects the arms of the cross. The mint name legend in Gothic uncial lettering is divided across the four quadrants by the arms of the cross, reading between beaded borders, and identifies the City of London as the place of issue. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Henry VI's second reign lasted just six months, from October 1470 to April 1471, ended when Edward IV retook the throne and had Henry murdered in the Tower. Coinage from this restoration period is consequently scarce by any measure — the London mint had barely resumed striking before the political situation collapsed entirely.
Spink 2087 / North 1622 places this issue among the lighter-weight pennies of the period, reflecting the ongoing reduction in silver content that had been eroding English penny coinage since the mid-fifteenth century.
